ALPS Increases Headcount by a Third as Business Volumes Increase

Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS), one of the UK’s leading providers of insurance motor claims solutions, legal expenses and additional products, has recruited 19 new staff in response to significant demand from a number of new client wins. It plans to further step up recruitment later this year.

The new joiners include 13 new claims and litigation handlers, a number of new personnel in sales and logistics as well as two apprentices, all based at its head office in Congleton in Cheshire.

 

 

ALPS’ claims volumes have grown by nearly a third (31 per cent) in the last year and it has grown its turnover by 20 per cent year on year for the last three years. The company expects to match that growth again in 2015. The growth has come, in part, due to new work with brokers and networks such as Europa, Finch and Broker Network.  Further growth has come from new policy lines such as Tools in Transit and Sole Trader Legal Expenses as well as enhancements to its existing product range such as family and commercial legal expenses cover.
