ALPS Launches Improved Communic8 Broker Portal

Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS), one of the UK’s leading providers of motor claims solutions, legal expenses and additional products, is launching a new and improved version of its award-winning online broker portal, Communic8, which is used by its 700 brokers to manage policies and claims.

Communic8 was first launched to deliver a smooth claims management experience for brokers and to support broker sales through an efficient policy management system. Among its many benefits is the ability for brokers to access all policy documentation and claims notes, which, alongside live interaction with ALPS’ expert claims handlers, provides a higher level of transparency than elsewhere within the industry.

Communic8 supports broker sales and policy management by giving them the ability to submit, amend and renew all policies online. They can also determine pre-set retail rates and access valuable analysis on policy sales performance and margins. This is all backed up by access to an online library of information and additional services such as vehicle replacement in the event of a fault-accident.

The new Communic8, which will be live from the end of May, has been designed as a result of in-depth research amongst ALPS’ brokers. The refreshed version will see changes in terms of design and functionality for users, meaning it will be much quicker and even easier to navigate. The portal will also have a new function that allows brokers to send direct messages to the dedicated handlers managing the case to assist with any actions or explanations on the claim.
