SchemeServe, a leading provider of insurance scheme software for brokers, MGAs, underwriting agencies and insurers, has today appointed Jonathan Powell as an underwriting ‘Scheme Tailor’.
All of SchemeServe’s underwriting scheme developers are given the title Scheme Tailor, reflecting its bespoke and service driven approach to scheme software development. The Scheme Tailors build and maintain SchemeServe’s customers’ insurance products using their years of technical underwriting and e-trading experience to help customers translate underwriting guides and delegated authorities into live products.
Jonathan joins SchemeServe from Advantage Insurance where he spent 6 years underwriting, managing real time pricing and post live validation. Prior to 2009 Jonathan was an insurance technician and programmer for Equity Red Star and Acorn Insurance.
Jonathan’s appointment is part of SchemeServe’s current recruitment drive to service the current growth in demand for its scheme software. In the past two years the software has grown to transact over £100m GWP across nearly 200 schemes.
