Prism Network appoints ex-Oval executive director Jeff Herdman as Non-Executive Chairman

Prism Network, the national disaster recovery and building repairs specialist, announces the appointment of Jeff Herdman as Non-Executive Chairman.

He has over 28 years’ experience in the insurance and financial services industries with many leading organisations, most recently as Group Managing Director of the Oval Group, where he was integral to the successful growth of the company from £20m to £100m.

The appointment follows the news in September that Prism has secured a £2m VC investment to fuel its growth.  In his new role as Non-Executive Chairman of Prism, Herdman will be bringing his vast wealth of experience to the company, helping to increase its market share and accelerate the rapid growth that Prism has already enjoyed over the last three years.

Speaking about Herdman’s appointment, Mark Orton, Managing Director at Prism Network commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Jeff on board. His portfolio and experience is second to none, and we are confident he will be able to take a holistic view of our growth strategy, and help us achieve our ambitions.”

Jeff Herdman adds: “Working with Prism Network is an exciting challenge for me. I was instantly attracted to its proposition; it is a dynamic young company that’s really going places. I particularly liked the way that it is changing the customer experience, both the end consumer as well as the insurer/broker. I believe I will be able to contribute significantly to its continuing success.”

Prism Network has created a unique integrated approach to disaster recovery and building repairs and operates in a completely transparent manner ensuring that all cost savings are passed directly to the insurer or broker, without sacrificing customer service. Prism works with several insurers, loss adjusters, and over 450 brokers including 50% of the top 100.
