11th October 2016: Jackson Lee Underwriting has announced the launch of its new Leisure Division.
Products offered initially include travel, touring caravan, static caravan and park homes insurance. All products will be available to brokers via Jackson Lee Underwriting’s secure online platform, ABEL. The launch will give brokers continuity with fast access to a suite of leisure and other complementary motor products all in one place. It will put the Underwriting Agency in direct competition with some major players in the leisure market.
The Underwriting Agency has successfully recruited Graeme Hamilton, a recognised underwriting expert in the leisure sector, to head up its new division. Graeme has over 20 years’ experience in the leisure sector, joining most latterly from Thistle Insurance where he was Business Development Director. Prior to that he was Retail Development Manager for K.Drewe Insurance Brokers and spent 10 years at JLT . He also ran his own successful specialist Leisure broker for four years before he sold it to Canopius Group in 2012. Graeme will be based at the Jackson lee Underwriting office in Warwickshire.

Jackson Lee will be showcasing its first two Leisure products, Travel and Touring Caravan insurance, at the Broker Expo in Coventry on 10th November. It plans to add further products to the Leisure Division over the coming months covering leisure pursuits such as fishing, cycling and photography.
